Recorded in Studio 3 at EMI Studios, 3 Abbey Road, London on John’s birthday, 9th October 1970.

This new video, premiering on TikTok features original illustrations by John Lennon, animated by Jamie Hewlett/Gorillaz’ company, Zombie Flesh Eaters.

‘It’ll Be Me‘ was written by Jack H Clement for Jerry Lee Lewis, while Jack was a producer and engineer for the legendary Sam Phillips at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee, and was first released as the B-side to Jerry’s single ‘Whole Lot of Shakin’ Going On’. Both songs were greatly loved by John, Ringo, Klaus and Billy.
